1. Introduction and scope
Air2 (hereinafter "Air2", "we", "our") is committed to protecting the personal information of those who visit the air2.ca website and use its ventilation system cleaning and maintenance services.
This privacy policy complies with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25, R.S.Q., c. P-39.1) as well as its recent amendments that came into force in 2022 and 2023.
It applies to all collection, use, disclosure and retention of personal information carried out by Air2 in the course of its activities.

3. Personal information collected
3.1 Browsing data
When you visit air2.ca, we may automatically collect browsing data, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, session duration and the source of the visit. This data is collected for statistical purposes and to improve the website. It does not allow us to identify you directly.
3.2 Contact form
If you use our online contact form, the following information may be collected: first and last name, email address, phone number and the subject of your request. This information is used solely to respond to your requests and to follow up on your file.
4. Purposes of collection
The personal information collected is used for the following purposes: responding to your information and service requests, managing the client relationship and following up on your work, improving the quality of our services and our website, and meeting our legal and regulatory obligations.
We collect only the information necessary for the stated purposes, in accordance with the principle of data minimization.
5. Disclosure to third parties
Air2 does not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only with our technology service providers to the extent necessary to deliver our services, these providers being bound by contractual confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.
Where information is shared with a provider located outside Quebec, we carry out a privacy impact assessment (PIA) in accordance with Law 25.
6. Retention of information
Your personal information is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable legal requirements, generally seven (7) years for client files.
At the end of the retention period, your information is securely destroyed or anonymized.
7. Security of information
We implement appropriate administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include restricted access to information on a need-to-know basis, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS protocol) and regular updates to our systems.
8. Your rights
In accordance with Law 25, you have the following rights regarding your personal information: the right to access your information, the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, the right to erasure where its retention is no longer justified, the right to portability in a structured technological format, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time, subject to applicable legal obligations.

9. Cookies
Our website may use cookies for navigation and statistical analysis purposes. These cookies do not collect information that identifies you directly.

10. Privacy incidents
In the event of a privacy incident presenting a risk of serious harm, Air2 undertakes to notify the Commission d'acces a l'information (CAI) as promptly as possible, to notify any person whose information is affected by the incident, and to maintain a register of privacy incidents in accordance with Law 25.
11. Changes to this policy
Air2 reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Any change will be published on this page with a revised update date. In the event of a substantial change, we will inform you by email or through a visible notice on our site.
12. Complaints and recourse
If you believe your personal information has not been handled in accordance with Law 25 or with this policy, you have the right to file a complaint with the Commission d'acces a l'information du Quebec (CAI).
