Heat pump rebates in Quebec: LogisVert and the 2026 programs
LogisVert is today the main heat pump rebate in Quebec, and it covers a significant share of the cost of an eligible unit. But the rules on stacking, eligibility and deadlines cost plenty of people their rebate. We verify your eligibility, we calculate the amount according to your unit, and we handle your application from A to Z.
The heat pump rebate picture in 2026
The landscape has changed a lot in recent years, and that is where most people get lost. Several older programs have closed or been replaced, while others continue. Here is where things stand today, so you know what you can actually count on.
LogisVert, managed by Hydro-Quebec, has become the flagship program for installing an efficient heat pump. It covers a significant share of the cost of an eligible unit, and the amount is calculated according to the unit's heating capacity and efficiency: high-performing cold-climate models are the ones qualifying for the highest amounts. It is the rebate the vast majority of heat pump projects in Quebec currently rely on.
Renoclimat, the provincial program, still exists but plays a different role: it targets mainly envelope improvement work (insulation, air sealing) and requires an energy evaluation before the work. For replacing oil heating, the federal Oil to Heat Pump Affordability program may also apply to eligible households. The federal Greener Homes Grant, on the other hand, is closed to new registrations - there is no point counting on it for a new project.
The rebate process is part of Air 2's sales and installation silo: we verify your eligibility, we calculate the amount into your quote, and we handle the application - all while installing your heat pump with our RBQ-certified in-house team.

How we guide you through the rebate
From eligibility to the cheque, in the right order. Here is how it happens.

"I can file the application myself, it is not worth going through an installer"
You can try, and some people manage it. But that is precisely where rebates get lost. The classic mistakes: choosing a model that is not on the eligible list, having it installed by someone without the right RBQ licence, forgetting the Renoclimat evaluation before the work when it applies, or missing the deadline to file the application after the installation. Each of these mistakes cancels the assistance.
The other worry we hear: "my situation is too unusual, I am surely not eligible for the full amount." That is exactly what we verify before starting, at your home. We explain where your model sits and what you are entitled to, in numbers, before you decide - not after.
When we handle your heat pump from eligibility through to the application, we steer you clear of these traps, and the compliant installation by our in-house team guarantees the work meets the rebate's requirements. One honest caveat, though: program amounts and rules change, so we always validate the current figures against the official sources before confirming a number to you.
